TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
